#19 Dallis Darnell (2022, IF/OF) returns for her 4th season on the St Louis Heat! Dallis can be found all over the field for the Heat, as she can play all infield and outfield positions well. As a freshman, Dallis helped her high school team to a 2nd place finish in the Class 4 state championship. As a junior, Dallis earned 1st Team All-Conference and 2nd Team All-District honors.
At the plate, Dallis can both slap and hit for gap power and is an excellent bunter. Her speed and versatility at the plate cause problems for our opponents’ defenses. She has elite speed (2.62s home to 1st) and is a great base runner.
On the field, Dallis is quick to the ball and has great range. She also has a strong, accurate arm. In the dugout, Dallis is always cheerful and smiling.
In the classroom, Dallis is a good student with a 3.5 GPA. She is also a member of the FFA and FBLA. Outside of school, she is also an accomplished barrel racer and enjoys caring for her horses. Due to her love of animals, she is interested in studying biology or veterinary medicine.
