#22 Kathryn Flowers (2021, C/1B) returns for her 5th season on the St Louis Heat 03! Kat keeps things under control behind the plate for the Heat and is also a skilled first baseman with great fielding mechanics. As a catcher, she is an excellent framer and controls the strike zone well. Kathryn has a quick release and can throw from her knees with accuracy. She has an outstanding pop time of 1.86s.
At the plate, Kathryn is an accomplished hitter with excellent power and is also a great bunter. She has earned 1st Team All-District, 1st Team All-Conference, Rookie of the Year, and Super Slugger awards with her high school team.
Kathryn the ultimate team player and is a mature leader that is always positive and supportive of her teammates. She is an excellent student with a 3.88 GPA which earned her Academic All-State honors her junior year. Kathryn wants to pursue a degree in business in college.
